O-LEANG
When speaking of "Thai coffee", many people
may immediately think of
"O-Leang" - a name that has become almost
synonymous with "Thai Coffee".
Contrary to popular belief, however, "O-Leang"
is better described as a sugar
than a coffee drink. The average "O-Leang"
contains not more than 25% coffee,
while the rest is sugar (40-50%) and "coffee substitutes"
like sesame, corn and
soybeans.
